Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you for stopping by...

...and welcome to the Grandiose Favorites of 2005!

It is with great joy that I present to you this collection of photographs. Having spent this past year taking thousands of pictures, it was no easy task to comb through the archives and name "favorites." And, by what criteria do I judge these pictures, you ask? What qualifies each one for this esteemed title?

Well... I can't give away my secrets. Just leave that logical stuff to me, and you sit back and enjoy the snaps. Some of them will more than likely be familiar if you've been reading the site since May 2005. Every single photo (all 178 of them!) has some story behind it, some memory from this rather interesting (not to mention LONG) year. I can look at them and recall such rich detail, such intense emotion. I'm not a master of words, so rather than listen to me blather endlessly, I'll let the images speak their stories for themselves.

I'm typing this over a cup of ginger tea with honey, an Aston Villa/Tottenham Hotspur match lingering in the background on the telly. However you're enjoying the photos, I hope they find you comfortable, healthy, and happy.

And of course... let's not forget... grandiose.
